This song tells the story of a family going through a divorce with a child, told from the mothers perspective. When writing this song along with Toby Waters and Tavie Basarich, we captured the vision of what unfortunetly goes on with some families around the world. Although this isn't telling my story, I am a child of divorce, it’s hard for everyone involved no matter the circumstances.
